collection of art, artifacts, museum reproductions, and
historic jewelry, sculptures, and tapestries.
The
Company was founded in 1997, and is operated by Arden
(Arden Technologies, Inc., est. 1994). Since that time
they have become one of the largest collections of
museum and art reproductions anywhere. Since
1997, they've sold thousands of reproductions to
individuals, institutions, and companies worldwide.
In Spring of 1999, they were
featured on Abc.com as a part of the production of Cleopatra
starring Timothy Dalton (aka. James Bond).
In Fall of 1999, Goto.com (now a part of Yahoo)
showcased TheArtifact as a select and unique destination for their Shopping
Safari promotion.
In the April 2000, they were featured in the
cover article of Germany's Geo Magazine
In the January 2000 issue of Presence Magazine
they were recognized in their "Best of the Web 2000" article.
In 2002, they supplied the Students Exhibition
for Studium Biblicum in Hong Kong. They continue to provide their
reproductions to schools across the United States from Pennsylvania,
Wisconsin, Texas, New York, Nevada to California.
In January of 1999 and September of 2002, they
sold items to the Boston Museum of Science for use in exhibits and as
teaching tools.
In the Fall of 2002, they provided a number of
items to Universal Studios Japan for their Mummy II exhibit!
The company is based in the US and will
ship worldwide.
